Sibu Mabena is the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Duma Collective, a creative communications agency that services FMCG brands, Government Departments, Broadcasters and Production companies.
The company offers Brand Strategy, Traditional PR, Social Media Management, Influencer Campaigns, and Event Production. Some of the events they’ve worked on include Cassper’s Fill Up Series, The SAMAs, MTV Base Africa Music Awards, Global Citizen, Afropunk, The Dubai Expo and many more.
They service major multinational brands such as the MultiChoice Group, including DStv and Showmax, NBA Africa, FNB, Heineken South Africa, Chivas Whisky in South Africa, Cameroon and Nigeria, and Puma just to name a few. Achieving this vision is a team of 43 young creatives on a collective mission revolving around creating an oasis for African creativity to flourish!
She sits on the boards of The Effie Awards, The Creative Circle, The Gauteng Department of Sports Arts and Culture advisory committee and Entreprenerdy, an agency founded in Norway to help entrepreneurs around the globe.
