Rehema Isa is a visionary business strategist and the co-founder of Oya, dedicated to scaling up women-owned businesses to actively participate in intra-Africa trade.
As the co-founder of Womanomics Africa™, a non-profit organization, Rehema champions advocacy, research, and capacity building to ensure that women capture half of the $6 trillion estimated to be unlocked from business opportunities in Africa’s Continental Free Trade Area.
Certified by the International Labour Organisation as a Women Entrepreneurship Development Expert, she not only supports entrepreneurs but also serves as a business and leadership coach and a learning development facilitator with leading local and international business schools.
A serial entrepreneur, Rehema co-founded Oya Foods during the 2020 lockdown, an agri-processing and marketing company that connects products from South African women farmers to local retail stores. Rehema is also a storyteller and a TEDx licensee, amplifying the voices of African women professionals globally.
