Nomazibulo Tshanga

Nomazibulo Tshanga is a seasoned business woman, humanitarian, multi-faceted speaker, and thought leader in Strategy Development, Gender Transformation, Leadership, and People Management. She’s also a mother to three beautiful children, two boys, and 1 baby girl, and is a wife to an amazing and supportive husband. Her approach to business ensures that people are at the forefront of her client’s strategy by tailoring solutions that leverage on technology.

At the core of her values is to build result focused teams in order to drive superior business performance. Her strength is in assisting organisations build a value based working environment. She’s also passionate about helping potential leaders clarify and crystallise their goals and aid them in finding solutions to achieving those goals. She helps people bring their visions to life.


After 13 years of a successful career she enjoyed in corporate from an HR Graduate at Coca-Cola to an HR & Transformation Director at Bidvest Steiner, in 2016 she started her own 100% black and majority female owned People Management Consulting company called Ziyana Business Consulting and Training. The company employs about 30 employees and servicing clients in Sub – Saharan Africa.

Noma is passionate about gender equality and accelerating the growth of women in leadership spaces. We’ve seen this through her women empowerment initiative that she hosts called “Brunch With Noma” where the aim is to drive women to continuously challenge the status quo which excludes many women from the social and economic mainstream. She believes that by women working together they can ensure a societal shift so that women can take their rightful place and contribute to the country’s socio- economic growth and development. She also believes that through the inclusion of more women in the economy we can also stop generational poverty and in the process stimulate economic growth. The “Brunch With Noma” was hosted in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth and has impacted over 250 women’s lives. This initiative is self – funded as part of her social responsibility and the love of giving back.



Works

Noma loves her family and always makes time for her children and family outing. She loves to read books and travel with her family. She has a Degree in Human Resources from the Nelson Mandela University, and a Post- Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Cape Town. She also graduated with an Executive Development Programme at the Wits Business School. She is currently an MBA candidate through Henley Business School.
