Amanda John-Ncube

Amanda has 14 years financial services industry experience ranging in different roles within the focused area of financial planning. With legal qualifications having spearheaded her career path and led to postgraduate qualifications in Financial Planning and an advanced postgrad in estate planning and risk management.

 

She graduated with a Magna cum Laude an Exec Masters in Digital Transformation at ie University in Madrid, Spain and is currently exploring leadership studies through an Old Mutual programme with Emeritus and Columbia Business School.

Amanda takes a lead on the Old Mutual’s Black Distributors Trust and is the Business Development Manager within BD’s Strategy team and together they are custodians of different projects focused on enhancing the value proposition to independent financial advisers and their support staff. She also sits on the Old Mutual group SMME steering committee and is an accredited business coach.

She is a financial literacy author and is the co-founder of The LeanIn Circle for Women in Financial Planning and many of her professional colleagues know her as a connector, someone who takes others along the journey and the woman who gets things done with impact. Amanda regularly speaks on topics of business coaching within the financial planning space, accelerating customer engagement, financial literacy, inclusion and women leadership and motivation.
